It is amazing how the smallest moments can change your life. Leah & Robbie met in a math class in their high school days at Dowling and practically dated ever since. These high school sweethearts were an absolute joy to photograph! They so enjoyed every moment spent with each other and every moment during their wedding day. And what a perfect day it was! After seemingly countless Saturdays of rain, both Leah & I greeted the 98 degree weather with a sigh of relief! The day was full of so much love, from everywhere and everyone: the most thoughtful and fun gifts from the groom to his new bride, an emotional first look for Leah and her dad, sentimental toasts by her sisters, his brother, and her dad, (all that had me close to tears at one point and then crying of laughter at another) and dancing like mad to the "Summer of 69" because "we don't know why, that's just what our family does"! It was my absolute pleasure to be a part of two simply lovely families coming together in such a beautiful way! And I must admit, we had a fun time celebrating with them! Of course I cannot fail to mention how stunning every detail was! From her seriously gorgeous gown to the lovely bouquets on the altar, burlap detailed programs, tissues with a thoughtful note and a dreamy set up at Glen Oaks - it really was a wonderful day! Thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful relationship; I am so happy for you both!
Such gorgeous details! Can't believe you could wear those heels all day! You're amazing!
Robbie got Leah an iPad - how thoughtful! But what's even better is he pre-recorded a message to Leah for her to watch that morning! The best part is he was already wearing a suit and told her how beautiful she looked; too cute!
These girls were full of laughter all day long! I loved photographing the Wirtz girls together!
First look with dad...
They got ready in these separate rooms - it was too funny that they were just through that wall from each other!
IN LOVE with this series from the first look...

Words of wisdom from the winners of the anniversary dance.
This kiddo was on the dance floor ALL night! She loved it!!
And then the belly dancing lessons came out in full force...
I have NEVER seen a family dance so hard at a wedding in my life. It was all because of one song: Summer of '69. Totally. Epic.
CONGRATULATIONS to the happy couple! May you share a lifetime as happy as this!!
